What to do if you have entered the country after travelling from China, in particular the province of Chu-pej (regions with infections of the new coronavirus - Covid-19) during the last 14 days or if you have flown in from international airports in Asia (China, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam) and you don’t have any symptoms of the illness.

 

For the entire maximum period of incubation ie. 14 days from departure from the area of infection, stay at home (hotel) and minimize contact with other people.

 

Wash hands frequently with soap and water and if necessary use disinfectant for hands with a minimum of 70% alcohol.

 

Contact the department of epidemiology for the Pilsen region with headquarters in Pilsen by telephone: 377 155 209, -205, -204, -106, -100, which will decide on any appropriate measures that need to be taken including quarantine.

 

An authorized G.P. will provide you with confirmation of quarantine if required.

 

If symptoms of subfebrile-febrile temperatures, a cough, or shortness of breath occur, contact the Clinic of infectious diseases and travel medicines at Faculty Hospital in Pilsen by tel. 377 402 264, -657.

 

If you have been called for a medical examination at the Infections Clinic, do not travel on public transport; use your own vehicle or if necessary call 155 (ambulance). If it is possible, wear a protective mask and only enter the waiting room having arranged it first with personnel of the Infections Clinic.

If you are at home (hotel), do not go anywhere – avoid contact with other people.

 

Wash hands frequently with soap and water and if necessary use disinfectant for hands with a minimum of 70% alcohol.

 

When coughing or sneezing cover your mouth with a handkerchief, upper arm or sleeve but not your hands!!!
